If they really feel they were duped, this ruling would not retraumatize them. They will feel great because a major wrong has been corrected to what they now know is the truth.
I concur.
Thousands of women were lied to. I’ve posted story after story of this.
I’m so glad it’s over. I knew this day would come but it should have come sooner.
It’s hard to pray “for” evil morons!
There’s a reason Hugh Hefner was pro abortion.
He helped turn women into sluts so he could profit off them.
“It wasn’t personal. It was strictly business”
That’s a great reminder.
Bump!!
Please also pray for the men who are traumatized by the knowledge that their beautiful babies could have shown what wonderful people they would have become, if the current SCOTUS had decided on Roe in the first place.
I don’t pray for evil.
I totally agree.
One of the ladies from our Bible study group had an abortion very young.
I do believe that it haunts her to this day.
God forgives her, but she cannot forgive herself.
In my young days I met a girl I really liked and thought we might be on the road to somewhere good. Anyway, she asked me my thoughts on the issue. I told her that I believed that a human life began at conception. Anyway, that was not the answer she wanted to hear and I lost my turn. Good for me.
I have a hard time believing women were duped into thinking the fetus was just a clump of cells, not human, but I do believe many were duped into believing that abortion was consequence-free and were surprised at the guilt and sorrow they experienced after they killed their babies.
My older sister had an abortion back in the day (she was an alcoholic, the doctors said the baby would probably die anyway. But she had a lot of guilt over that, and gave her another excuse to keep drinking.
She would call (drunk) and sooner or later would be crying and moaning that she was going to hell, God couldn’t forgive her, especially for killing her baby, etc.
Finally, during a short stint in prison for DUI, she accepted God truly. It was amazing to see her transformation. Gone was the guilt and the fear of going to hell, but knowing that God was guiding her and with her - even on her death bed.
Had a discussion with my granddaughter today. She’d heard on the radio that Physicians would be prevented from learning how to perform a number of health treatments such as a D&C, and that women would be denied birth control among other things.
I tried to explain to her that she was hearing lies, and that in reality, this was an issue of states rights.
I also tried to inform her that when the plan “B” pill was made available, there was discussion that the need to keep traditional abortions available would be decreased. THAT is what finally hit home.
She had no idea that an unborn baby was a human being, or that abortion fell into the murder category.
I once knew a lady who thought that the baby became a baby as it was coming down the birth canal.
Back in the day, when women wanted abortions which weren’t permitted in the state she lived in, she would simply go to a state that did.
Unfortunately, this is a topic guided by strong emotions rather than by logic. It’s amazing how many people don’t know the difference. And it’s heartbreakingly sad how folks don’t know how to discern truth.
I’m grateful for the SC decision today. I hope it travels into areas where the Federal government is out of line in demanding control over the states.
