Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America, and Citigroup Rush to Fund Abortion Travel
Breitbart ^ | June 24, 2022 | John Carney

Wall Street has adopted policies to fund travel for abortions for employees that work in states that impose restrictions in anticipation of or following the Supreme Court’s declaration that the constitution is neutral on the subject.

In memoranda to employees, both J.P. Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Bank of America said they would pay for abortion-related travel for employees in states that restrict abortion. Citigroup announced a similar policy in March.

CNBC reported that the J.P. Morgan memo was dated June 1, around one month after a leaked draft of an opinion overturning Roe v. Wade was published by Politico.

In a question-and-answer web page linked to the June 1 memo, the bank directly addressed whether it was covering abortion, as well as out-of-state travel to have the procedure.

“Will you pay for an employee to travel to another state to seek an abortion if their state won’t allow them to get one?” the bank said.

“Yes. Our health care plans have historically covered travel benefits for certain covered services that would require travel,” JPMorgan said. “Beginning in July, we will expand this benefit to include all covered services that can only be obtained far from your home, which would include legal abortion.”

Citigroup had already been reported to have plans to fund employee travel for abortions.

“While we are still assessing the impact of the Supreme Court decision and are aware that some states may enact new legislation regarding reproductive rights, we will continue to provide benefits that support our colleagues’ family planning choices wherever we are legally permitted to do so,” Sara Wechter of Citigroup said in a memo to employees Friday, Bloomberg reported.

As many have pointed out, it’s much cheaper for these crappy companies to spring for abortion tourism than it is to have employee progeny on the health-insurance payroll for the next 25 years.

I’d suggest/recommend a Credit Union.

Seems the “access to health care*cough* “argument is falling apart. Gofundme will probably have serious money moving through.

Cheaper than paying maternity leave.

Keep the office drones working rather than having babies.

I hope this becomes a complete scam on these businesses for free vacation for women.

“Sure. Pregnant. Give me that $4,000.” And they go on vacation.

Do that once a year for 5-10 years = extra $20-40,000 for being a woman.

NOW we know what a woman is.

Who didn't know immediately this was coming? The corps all know the dam has burst. It’s inevitable so they are rushing in.

Gays should be upset since they don’t have to deal with unwanted pregnancies.

That’s not it. These companies have pretty generous health bennies, including for bringing pregnancies to term. The problem for them is that these bennies are costly. The way they figure it - if you get an abortion, that’s tens of thousands of dollars they shell out per employee per pregnancy vs a grand, tops, for an abortion. The pregnancy bennies are there, but they’d prefer you not use them. Once the kids are born, you’ve got these dependents for at least 18 years, that get tacked on your insurance, the majority of whose costs are borne by the company. So that’s many tens of thousands of dollars per child they’re footing on top of the maternity charges.

Are they virtue-signaling to the woke? Sure. But in reality, it’s just an attempt to make sure they don’t suddenly get saddled with additional insurance costs from employees who would typically get abortions in states that are now set to ban the procedure. It’s totally cold-blooded calculation dressed up as liberal virtue.

Yes. Tucker mentioned this on his as usual excellent opening last night. These companies also want abortion because they want women in the workforce so they can have a glut of potential employees so they can pay half-wages, lower wages. The powers that be also want women in the workforce so their children have to be placed in the government indoctrination centers, the schools, so they can pervert them and make them haters of Republicans and conservatives and lovers of government and the Democrats at earlier and earlier ages. How many morally sick, propagandized young people did we see out yesterday?

What about somebody needing to travel to another state for advanced cancer treatment? Where’s the rush to set aside special funding for that?

Of course! Soros, Gates (of hell), Pelosi, Moloch and the lying, murdering theif aka S-A-T-A-N are all not happy... They won’t be able to make their quota, so that their living dead mummy faces (from drinking baby’s blood) don’t fall off.

If G-d knows, shouldn’t the whole world also know by now?

The secret deeds of darkness will one day be revealed and dealt with, with eternal bearing.

The company I work for announced they’d provide the same, up to $5k. I guess it’s going to be standard practice for large companies doing business in the US.
