No. It is a direct argument that is generally unfavorable about most all abortions, but can see the possibiity for strict exceptions only in cases of rape and incest. There is nothing “straw man” about it. There is nothing asking abortion to be open for any other reason, and it is not suggesting abortion “should be” used in cases of rape or incest, only that I would permit them as strict exceptions on the choice of the female.

It’s also a foot in the door for abortion supporters. That’s what I meant by straw man argument. Next it becomes “the life of the mother,” and before you know it that includes “mental, emotional, and financial health” besides the physical health that was actually legislated. I’ve seen this show before.
