An action they would take, a shooting or a bombing that would be so valiant and righteous (in their minds!) so inspirational that the oppressed lower classes would rise up and bring the corrupt world down.

Exactly- Good post- you hit it right on the head-
they feel they are ‘sacrificing their lives’ for the ‘sake of the cause’ (ie, the cause being gun control apparently- they seem to really ramp up when liberals control the country- knowing that the libs will immediately scream for gun control, instead of calling for measures that will actually make a difference, like issuing SHALL ISSUE CC licensees- and arming guards in schools, and other current gun free zones so that the sick mentally ill criminals will think twice knowing that they won’t get very far, and they won’t get their desired 15 minutes of fame)
