You only need to look at college stats. Women are now 60% of college students. The colleges did not create that, it is a product of the public K-12 education industrial complex, and its concerted Leftist attacks on western civilization.

I was sad to see the Chicago suburb parade shooter had been a Cub Scout. Things like that SHOULD “help” as they are wholesome. All my 3 boys were Cub and Boy Scouts.
Yes men are only 40% of US college students, and the % is falling. And men are only 30% of UK college students, and falling.
Colleges, for that matter, do not teach useful skills unless you insist on taking them. Engineering and medicine are impossible to screw up, I hope. But liberal arts, law, poli sci, English lit, Forget it.
Agreed with one caveat. We’ve advised all of our 4 kids to get a BS instead of a BA in college and so far all have done so (Economics, Business, Computer Science BS degrees and one TBD).
But my 2nd son (conservative) with his BS in Business also opted for a minor in Philosophy. He says so far that field of study hasn’t gone “woke” even at Cal State where he studied.
I would argue that the Colleges did create that. Academia is the mother of all swamps. Feminists (progressives) gained seats on Tenure boards and began to deny Conservative Professors tenure. They gained control of Admission boards and now deny admission to White and Asian males while favoring woke candidates.
Woke graduates have infiltrated corporations, education, the media, etc. and are pushing their radical agenda. Until Academia is reformed progressives will continue to infect our culture.
I bought Will Farrows book in 1994, ‘The Myth of Male Power’, he was once a feminist on the NYC board of NOW before he could see things straight.
Tell me I didn’t just write “Will Farrow” instead of Warren Farrell.
