Xavier Becerra Considers Setting Up “Abortion Tents” on Federal Lands to Kill Babies

HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra promised Sunday that the Biden administration is doing “whatever we can” to expand abortions, including researching the possibility of putting temporary abortion facilities on federal land.

Speaking on NBC News “Meet the Press,” the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) leader reiterated the president’s promises to expand abortions in response to the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.

When host Chuck Todd asked about some Democrat lawmakers’ idea of opening temporary abortion facilities on federal land, Becerra acknowledged the possibility.

“I think we’re continuing to explore everything that’s out there,” he said. “We want to make sure we’re providing everything we can.”

However, Becerra said the Biden administration also must follow the law, and not all ideas are feasible. Still, he emphasized that they are committed to promoting abortions.

“You have people who are right now in need of abortion care services. So we’re gonna do what we can to give people something as quickly as we can,” he told Todd.

Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe on June 24, 13 states have banned abortions, and more are expected to in the weeks ahead. According to Operation Rescue, 49 abortion facilities have closed since the ruling, meaning thousands of unborn babies’ lives already are being saved.

Pro-life Congresswoman Nancy Mace, R-South Carolina, criticized the Biden administration for its radical pro-abortion agenda in an interview Tuesday on Newsmax.

Progressives “want abortion for any reason up until birth,” and America under Roe had some of the most radical pro-abortion laws in the world, Mace said.

“If you look at socialist Europe, abortion is banned after 12 to 15 weeks on average, if you’re even able to have an abortion,” she said.

Instead of protecting life, Mace said some Democrat leaders want to use federal land to abort more unborn babies.

“Some of our national forests or nationally protected land. You’re going to put abortion clinics on them?” she told Newsmax. “Because our country is so divided, it will be very hard for progressives to get what they want, which is why they’re looking at ways to work around the rule of law, work around the rule of the Supreme Court, and put this on federal lands.”

“[This] goes to show you how crazy Joe Biden is, and his administration and the progressive left,” Mace added.

The Biden administration’s pro-abortion position is radical and out of touch with most Americans. A new poll this week from Harvard University and Harris polling found that Americans support stronger legal protections for unborn babies than what Roe allowed.

The poll found 37 percent would ban abortion entirely with only rape and incest exceptions, while 49 percent support a heartbeat law banning abortions after six weeks. Meanwhile, 72 percent support banning abortions after 15 weeks.

Under Roe, states were forced to legalize the killing of unborn babies in abortions for any reason up to viability, about 24 weeks, and President Joe Biden wants America to go back to that. He supports a radical pro-abortion bill that would “codify” Roe into federal law and force states to legalize abortion on demand again.

Since Roe in 1973, more than 63 million unborn babies and hundreds of mothers have died in supposedly “safe,” legal abortions. The ruling made the United States one of only seven countries in the world that allowed elective abortions after 20 weeks.

Now, experts predict as many as 26 states will protect unborn babies’ right to life by banning abortions, resulting in hundreds of thousands of babies’ lives being saved.
