Actually it probably could be. McD corporate contracts companies all over to “allow” them to make the stuff that goes to the stores (the true business of McD is getting paid). Just because they pulled the branding doesn’t mean they still don’t have the recipes, and the pipeline to the raw material. Sure they’d be breaking the contract that says they can only sell this stuff to McDs, but what’s corporate gonna do about it?
