From what I’ve been told it’s a nightmare to adopt out of foster care.
Mostly this is because the courts want to give the kids back to the biological parents and are willing to give them a chance to shape up which often takes time.

Really though the kid often goes back and forth from bio home to foster home and back again.

I don’t know where you got your information from but it is spot on.

We played child ping pong with the drug addicted mother for 3 years. The courts gave her 15 second chances.

Most of the agency’s are government contractors. The longer they keep the kid in limbo the more money they make.

I triple dog dare anyone to prove me wrong.

Unless the foster kids parents are dead or both parents signed over total custody permanently, you could be in an Indian Giver position for years. Even then, some relative could pop out of the woodwork and claim they were designated as custodians but will relinquish custody for a price.
