The dilemma here is the mid-terms. I think they would prefer to do the replacement after January 21st so “Heels Up” Harris can do two terms, but they might need to do it before to get (or more likely create) an election bounce with all the enemedia chortling about the history making first woman president.

They would LOVE to have Heels-up Harris take the reigns. No, she would have been in place already. She polls so terribly among women, especially black and Hispanic women, that the Democrats can't afford to have her in office. She would truly be the end of the Party.
