I saw my GP yesterday and was forced to wear a mask. My doctor said he’s seeing an uptick in cases and false positive tests the last month or so. All recent cases have minor cold symptoms. He said he hasn’t hospitalized anyone with Covid in months.

He said he hasn’t hospitalized anyone with Covid in months.Saw mine yesterday and NO ONE was wearing a mask, including reception, initial vitals (BP, pulse OX, etc.) and doctor. Doing lab work today, same except for two patients with masks.
HOWEVER, NM state public health offices require masks for entry.

How does he know these were false positives? Lack of symptoms does not mean the test result was false.
