Dicken is the poster-boy for gun control. He hit his target eight times out of ten shots—the first shot that hit his target was from forty yards. Most paid highly trained law enforcement cannot do this.

Local police officers got in a gunfight last fall with a felon who was in a drive-by shooting the week before and who was on the run. After a high speed pursuit he got his car bogged down in a yard and refused to listen to the officers command to show his hands and then to drop the gun. He came out of the vehicle with a handgun and the fight was on. One officer was under fire and got off three rounds with one being a lethal shot and killing the shooter. The two other officers fired between 20-30 rounds, handgun and AR-15 and were not under fire and missed completely.

It all depends on the person doing the shooting and how serious they take the training. I know the officer who fired the three rounds and he was brought up shooting from a young age and takes range time seriously.
