40 yards seems likely. the food court is huge. He was just a good shot.

More importantly than the shot is that with no LEO or military training he had the presence of mind to do this in 15 seconds.

They do have it on tape. It was across a food court at a mall, and judging by our own mall’s food court, that 40 yards / 120 feet is not unreasonable......................

I bet you are correct... 8 hits at 40 yards is next to impossible while running and rapidly firing, even for a super marksman!
