The good thing about the names you’re called is that you can stop being all those things tomorrow if you embrace America First.
“The good thing about the names you’re called is that you can stop being all those things tomorrow if you embrace America First.”
The thing is, I have been America First before you ever stepped foot in the United States. It was probably before your time, but back in the 1960s there was a sentiment of, “America: Love It or Leave It.” There were even posters and car stickers. I got into a few fights because of that sentiment. My position was simple: Love it, warts and all; or get the hell out. If we both love it, we can work together to treat the warts, and try to prevent them from coming back.
That’s why I just shake my head at those who say things have become so bad here, that they are considering moving to another country. If they have small children, that may make some sense. But, otherwise, if they hold that sentiment, they don’t love the country.
