Las Vegas Metro police released video Thursday of security personnel and police rescuing a Siberian Husky puppy left in a car with its mouth taped shut, so he couldn’t pant and cool himself.
Security got the dog out of the car through the vehicle’s sunroof.
Through our investigation, we discovered the dog had been in the car for nearly 2 hours without air conditioning, food, or water while the vehicle’s owner went inside to gamble.
Raul Carbajal, 51, was arrested for a felony — malicious torture of an animal.
Did the pooch survive?

Give him a break. I think he should be allowed to own a dog again. In fact, a whole pack of them, namely, feral pitbull wolf dogs who hate humans and haven’t eaten for three days. Blind him and toss him naked and unarmed, along with the pups, into a secluded canyon somewhere where no one can hear his screams.
And smear him in bacon grease.

I was surprised Raul didnt put up much of a fuss as he was being handcuffed, but having just left the gambling area, he may have been a little bit drunk.
Ive seen other forced entry pet rescues where the pet owner seems far more concerned about his now damaged car window than for the animal.
I'd help. Anyone who could do this to an innocent puppy doesn't deserve his next dose of O2.

There is a use for pit bulls. In this case maybe 5 of the alone in a cell with this perp, with no cameras or security guards for a week or so. Whatever the dogs don’t eat can be set free the next day.
That's a beautiful dog (and I'm a cat person). He deserves a home where he will be loved.
