Microplastics are tiny, virtually invisible fragments of plastic between 0.0001 and 5 millimeters.
………………………………………………………………….
If you are drinking something with 5 millimeter pieces of plastic in it, you will definitely know it!

I suspect they’re not talking about fragments that large being in the water bottles but fragments closer to the 0.0001 mm range that you would never notice.

i wash and re-use plastic water bottles.

in 90 plus degrees heat in FL i fill the bottles HALF FULL..freeze them..THEN I have cold water as I drove around on errands.

saves money and is soooo easy.

I suspect the same stuff is in the water you get from your tap. The bottling companies do not have separate water supplies.
