I've developed a very healthy and informative feed over on Truth Social that is mostly free of clutter, trolls and other annoyances (that I had on Twitter all the time).

First rule: You need to start following a good number of people and then fine tune as you go along. Start with the obvious newsmakers like Donald Trump, Kari Lake, Gregg Phillips, Charlie Kirk, Dan Bongino, etc. Look for the verified red checkmarks on those account as there are still some Truth accounts posing as these people who are fake. Truth is doing a great job weeding them out but there are still some fake accounts popping up.

Then follow your fellow Freepers as much as you can as well as any Twitter users that have opened accounts on Truth.

I follow about 2,200 accounts (maximum you can follow is 7,500) which is more than enough to provide a substantial feed.

Then start digging into the comments on the threads that come on to you feed. You will find a lot of like-minded people who are not famous like the red checkmarks but they bring interesting content to the table (like a lot of Freepers here). Follow them as well and also see who they are following as likely they will have a curated list of worthwhile accounts to follow.

Once you build up a good feed, you can switch focus to adding content. By doing that, you will attract followers yourself and they will RETRUTH your content to their followers. Be sure to interact with people who respond favorably to your content. It's the polite thing to do and it helps you to build your audience.

You will occasionally run into trolls. Just block them as they will only distract you.

Some accounts are annoying in that they post repetitive things over and over again or they latch onto these "follower trains" which is nothing but noise that will clog up your feed. You can either unfollow those people or you can "mute" them so that their posts no longer show up on your feed. I only use that option when the account is following me and I don't want to be rude by un-following them. So I mute them instead. Which is still a little rude to be sure, but at least I'm not hurting any feelings as they will not know that I am muting them.

I was on Twitter for many years and I am already finding Truth to be a much better experience overall. It does take a little bit of work to get a good feed going but it's well worth it. Also, Truth is adding features all the time as it's still a brand new platform (not even a year old).

My only knock on Truth is that it is still almost all political. In order for them to scale to Twitter size, they need to broaden their content to be more than just politics 24/7. There is some progress being made. For instance, country singer John Rich premiered his new song on Truth and it went straight to number one on the Billboard Country charts on the strength of Truth Social! We need more of that kind of thing.

I’m not clear on the motive for the trains, but agree, they disrupt the feed.
