Obama left the White House on January 20, 2017 with Trump taking the oath of office. Now its August 13, 2022, more than 5 years after the end of the Obama presidency. Judicial watch should be able to ask for those records from the Obama Presidential Library.
They were moved from NSC to NARA. So the NSC cannot provide documents they don’t control. NARA has them, under government control at their facility in Chicago or their secured facility in DC.
Of course any good bureaucrat will tell you if the form is not completed perfectly, it will be rejected.
But this isn’t as nefarious as the article would lead you to believe. It is important to understand how stuff works.
