Any lawyer worth his salt knows that finding the right judge to sign an ex parte order is critical, especially if the order being presented is a little dicey. US Attorneys are competent and some are dishonest. Wouldn’t put this one past them.

Hunter Biden’s Paternity / Child support judge said Hunter said clearly - Hunter had to do the same process that everyone else does - and Election dates weren’t relevant to the Court.
Then the last filing in an empty courthouse (day before a Holiday), he filed to be taken off the case without explanation.
New Judge promptly came in and Hunter didn’t have to appear and dates were moved back.

If a real investigation is ever done, there should be evidence that the DoJ went out of its way to ascertain when the regular judge would be away. Reinhart likely knew the judicial schedule, and coordinated the DoJ’s submittal.
It’s also been pointed out that the DoJ waited until Congress recessed, so that pro-Trump Republicans were unavailable to subpoena the affidavit.

Waited for the judge to be “unavailable” to bring in their ringer.
Strzok made him an offer he couldn't refuse, he could keep his job and his good name, or lose both.
