My son is a manager at SAMS in Buford, GA and he just made an announcement that the EBT System is currently down across the US.
Oh, SNAP.
Rioting will begin at 18:00 hours.
Make that permanent.
Do they get their funds refilled on the first of the month?
Pray this resolves quickly.
Boom, boom, out go the lights.
Why is this system that centralized?!
In Indiana EBT reload is spread out through the month by first letter of last name. That’s to avoid a “land rush” at the stores.
Not sure about other states.
I’m guessing this shutdown was caused by Climate Change. Because everything bad is caused by Climate Change.

I hope it stays out for a week at least. I have popcorn stocked up.
If hackers somehow managed to take down the EBT system nationwide for an extended period of time, it would create so much chaos all across the country it would quickly overwhelm the police forces or what’s left of them everywhere.
Hopefully it’s down permanently.
We need to cull our massive herd of welfare cows.
