I sure like the looks of the more conventional models of the supercars. There are lots of Masarati coupes around here that are very understated but I’m guessing they still have plenty of performance.

Not "despite," "because of." Inflation leads people with cash to spend it now rather than later. This drives further inflation as items remain in short supply.
There has been a lot of stupidity on both the Left and the Right about economic news lately. Many on the right scream about how "terrible" the economy is. Save your literary gunpowder folks, because it's going to get a lot worse. Calling it bad now with low unemployment and strong demand just looks stupid.
But on the flip side, every time some leftist cheerfully points to strong demand as a sign all is well, they are cheering on the pouring of gasoline into the inflationary fire. That's going to come back to haunt them.
