I haven’t seen either episode but I hope they keep them available for online viewing. I want to make up my own mind.
Where’s a wizard to fight trolls when you need one?
. - .
Great opening line!
After all the talk here I watched the first episode. I saw no gay couples or any of the other allegations. Cinematography was well done. I don’t blame Amazon, many of the negative reviews are unverified.
Feminist, woke propaganda. Who knew?
I’ve watched the first two episode, I liked both of them and looked forward to the rest.
I wasn’t a huge Lord of the Rings fan, remember the character that took the ring to its final end was a Hobbit and so was his best friend.
It’s sort of like the new HBO show, “House of the Dragon”, comparing it to the original is not really fair, judge it on its own, I like both new shows.
I haven't seen The Rings of Power yet. But I've watched the first episode of House of the Dragon. I found it dull. The characters lacked personality. The acting wasn't solid. In general, prequels do not work because we know what's going to happen afterwards.
Ignore the racist morons who think having black elves is somehow unthinkable.
Listen to the honest critics who simply point out how the show stinks.
I find it a bit distracting. Lord of Rings is based on a European Fantasy world so naturally all the characters are white.
There are plenty of stories in Africa that Hollywood can explore. How about the Adventures of Mansa Musa?
Gollum was also a hobbit back in his Sméagol days.
Watched the first 2 episodes. Its OK. Nothing spectacular. Nothing over the top SJW. Just OK. I remain cautiously optimistic.
Black Panther certainly showed it can be profitable....Make Wakanda Great Again!
I tried to watch and could not get in. Maybe I’ll try in 6 months if I still have prime.
Waste of money if it's just okay. We are expecting Game of Thrones quality for the amount of money they are spending.
Yep I agree. They need to use their imagination more instead of ruining established franchises. I enjoyed Squid Game, it's out of my comfort zone but it's a great show.
Imagine a series that explores the world of Wakanda and finds that the sharpest minds and greatest warriors from that hidden African kingdom are a bunch of white guys with blonde hair.
I don’t think that one will be greenlit by the studio.
LOL, nope.
