I flew in the middle seat two weeks ago. Was blessed that the window seat passenger was a young Marine who was going home for 10 days after graduating from Boot Camp. We chatted for the entire flight.

The best bet would be to contact the airlines she used on her trip, and to tell them that she called their tourist class seating “unsafe for black women”.
Not only will the airlines get apoplectic about it, but they will likely put her on their “bad customer” list, or even the federal “no fly” list.
I used to catch space a space A flight from Delaware to Germany. I would leave Fort Bragg, NC and take any plane from Pope AFB to Dover. I recall flying on AF jets, but; I was also on C-130’s plus I flew from Wiesbaden to the Azores with an SF MSG in a C-124. Anyone who has served knows how slow that cargo plane is. This witch needs to sit on pallets. Then she might appreciate the jets.
I’d bet a huge percentage of “her” voters cheered her on as she lived it up in luxury - a grotesque role model for them, who are all about “getting over”.

Black “leaders” have never run anything for the betterment of their constituents. It is always for the hustle and getting even with “the system.” Coleman Young paved the way and showed how it is done.
As I recall, she was exploiting a recent trend involving "sister cities" - signing of proclamations, exchanging of cultural gifts, etc. (in Switzerland, the city is Ascona - on the southern Swiss border with Italy). Like New Orleans, Ascona hosts some sort of annual jazz music festival... so promoting tourism seems to have been the selling point for the trip. I assume the destination in France was similar, possibly a follow-up visit to a "sister city" already established by Mitch Landrieu.
I've noticed that these trips are always one-way. Mayors of U.S. cities set up these "relationships" as excuses for overseas travel, but you rarely hear of any foreign officials traveling to the U.S. for similar reasons.
Of course, the greatest irony is that New Orleans tourism lives or dies based on the perceived safety level of the city. In that regard, Miz Cantrell has been acting to kill tourism since she took office.

The last time I flew coach I got stuck in a middle seat with a 400 lb. ghettopotamus in the aisle seat. Being buried for 2 hours under all those rolls of blubber was one of the most traumatic experiences of my entire life.
