There is a FR member, an Australian who is a friend of Charles. Went to school with him & served in the military with him. He had a different view of Charles. He says Charles has been completely misrepresented by both the UK and our media. A lying media is not a strange concept to us. The only thing we have close to be right about him is his starry-eyed view of environmentalism. Since he’s the only one here with any direct evidence of what Charles is like. I for now will go with his view until I get some evidence unfiltered by both medias. I admit this isn’t likely. Anyway, he’s a constitutional monarch with little to no real power. He’s a national symbol the equivalent of a human flag.
It’s their country, not mine. I’m not going to lose sleep over it.

I will buy that answer. I’d love to talk to this freeper about that nonsense going on with Megan and Harry and know the real story. If I had been Elizabeth I would have put my Royal foot down and kept Harry far from her.

He posted a good thread when the Queen passed and caught some flack from the usual Monarchy haters.
He was also a Protocol Officer and knows the ins and outs of the English Monarchy. What can and can’t be done and who can or can’t do it.
He was a confidant when Charles was at school in Australia. Imagine being a Prince of the Realm and knowing everyone you came in contact with wanted something, even if it was the fame of being a friend of a Prince. Then you meet someone who keeps his mouth shut and just wants to be a friend.
Must be priceless to a guy like Charles.

Personally, I expect Charles to step up and be a solid figurehead.
