Limbaugh on McConnell, Wife Financial Ties to China: Schweizer’s Bombshells Have ‘Not Been Wrong’
Breitbart ^ | 19 Jan 2021 | PAM KEY

Posted on 10/01/2022 12:22:16 PM PDT by conservative98

Conservative talker Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday on his nationally syndicated radio show that Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer has “not been wrong” on the bombshells in his reporting while discussing his revelations about Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and his wife Elaine Chao’s financial ties to China.

Partial transcript as follows:

LIMBAUGH: It’s a Peter Schweizer story. Peter Schweizer has written books about the financial corruption of the deep state, financial corruption of people in the Washington establishment.

He had a piece in Breitbart yesterday. The headline: “Mitch McConnell and His Wife Financially Tied to the [ChiCom] Government.” As I said, I was hoping I wouldn’t have to use this. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to go there. But, man, folks they’re making it hard. I told you some Mark McKinnon stories. Let me tell you a little — a brief little — Mitch McConnell story.

[cut]

So you don’t want to make the ChiComs mad once they’ve got their hooks into you. So there’s some snark going around that maybe the Chinese told McConnell, “Hey, it’s time to lower the boom on Trump.” So I don’t know if it would even take that. I don’t know how surprised I am that this has happened because I think all of the Washington establishment has made up their minds that they are all-in on destroying as much of Trump and his family as they can.

I trust that when Trump is re-elected, he’ll make better appointments than Mrs Mc Connell, and better endorsements than Sen McConnell. I think he’s learned. He should start by appointing Desantis as AG, so we can dole out some justice to the Justice Dept.

That wasn’t an endorsement. McConnell was already a sitting Senator. Blame voters and the GOP senators who keep making him their “leader”.

I don’t trust that at all. It’s his Achilles heel. He appoints a lot of no good people hoping the moderates will appreciate it and sign on with his agenda. He’s been wrong every single time.

Since Rush left us, there hasn’t been a Republican mention the scam that is global warming, feminazis, and bums like McConnell. He was our voice.

It shouldn’t amaze anyone about the power of media to shift focus away from their evils. Here Rush is still right even over eighteen months later. To most people, this is new news.

This is why McConnell must stay in a leadership position, either in the minority or majority.

He would never survive a real congressional investigation.

Yeah but wrong. Trump’s mistake was relying on Republicans to support him and his agenda. He was a newby to DC

Correct. As explained by Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin ad nauseam. Trump had never been in Washington before and never served in government and had to rely on people with experience in the bureaucracy. It will be different next time.

Trump is a quick learner. The problem is he can’t choose who to work with. In politics the other guy has a say and a bunch of buddies to back him up. I hope this next time he hits the ground running with his entire team lined up on day one.

DC is an absolute example why Congress and Senators need to be part time, and MUST reside in their districts more than half of the year.
