Russia’s MP for Zabaykalsky region lieutenant general Andrey Gurulev has said that 1.5 million sets of military uniform had gone missing, reports local outlet Tayga.info.
“I still don’t understand where 1.5 million sets [of uniform], which had been kept at personnel reception points, ended up. Today, we have either problems with uniforms, or something else happens. All of these things were there, where did they disappear to? No one can explain this to me in any way at all anywhere!” he said.
According to Gurulev, personnel reception points need to be “equipped now for the future”, so they can “easily” accept people.
“We need to ask specific questions: where [did it go], where [is it now], and how did this happen that our drafted men are unable to receive a uniform, etc,” the lieutenant general concluded.

More likely these uniforms were never even made. Only money changed hands and was spread around. The level of stealing in Russia is insane.
They had invoices for 1.5 million uniforms. But the shipments never showed.
Accounts payable rule #1: you don’t pay an invoice without a shipping receipt.
I wonder if these were for winter uniforms? Because that would both explain why they are gone…and it would suck a lot for the draftees.
And the manufacture was probably in on the deal and just didn’t make them, saved allot on overhead.

The fellow who used this uniform money to buy himself a nice place in the south of France could only have done so if he kicked the proper amount upstairs.
Putin’s billions come from him getting a nice slice of all these swindles.

Of course. Which is why it’s hilarious to see Putinists and other ignoramuses attack Ukraine for being corrupt. If Ukraine has issues with corruption it is almost entirely due to its history with Russia. As those artificial ties are broken things will certainly improve on that front.
Hey, maybe the Ukraine soldiers now have them....Most likely the Russian’s sold or stole them and sold them to the Ukraines.
