DeMarcus Lawrence returned a fumble for a touchdown as the Dallas Cowboys' defense led the way in a 22-10 victory against the host Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

Running backs Tony Pollard, who gained 86 yards on eight carries, and Ezekiel Elliott, who added 78 yards on 22 attempts, did their parts. That ground attack supported quarterback Cooper Rush, who was 10 of 16 for 102 yards in the air.

Los Angeles quarterback Matthew Stafford was 28 of 42 for 308 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He also lost two fumbles. The Rams went ahead 10-9 in the second quarter by taking advantage of a rare defensive breakdown by Dallas. Receiver Cooper Kupp turned Stafford's pass into a 75-yard touchdown play.

Oh my, Cooper Rush has shown his merit, by winning 4 games straight, while the press's prima donna, Dak Prescott is out with a broken thumb.

Will give Michael Strahan his due, he praised Cooper, while the rest of the panel on Fox were clutching their pearls, about what will happen to Dak.

The Rams aren’t playing like ‘Super Bowl Champs’, that’s for sure.

One of the announcers in today’s game between the Titans and the Washington football team accidentally called them the Edskins and the co-announcer freaked out and attacked him.

I’ve caught a few Cowboys & Eagles games this year, and I like both teams.
I believe they play next Sunday. Should be a good matchup.đź‘Ť

Wonderful. Good to see American’s Team do well despite injuries.

The announcer didn't "attack" him, he just said "Commanders", and the co-announcer then said "Commanders".

I wonder how many times in the upcoming ALDS the announcers will call them the “Cleveland Indians”?

Who would that be?! Certainly not the expansion Cowboys. The Rams, Giants, Bears, Packers and Browns all had multiple championships before the NFL came up with a team to chase the AFL Dallas Texans out of state.

If I were an ALDS announcer, I would mess up once a game, around the 8th inning, and if my co-host "corrected" me, I would say "whoops", and do it again the next time. I would also refer to the team as Cleveland all other times.

They should be called the “Deadskins”.

They keep saying the NFL is a passing league, it should not be, Dallas threw for 102 and two running backs had 164 yards total, a very winning combination.

Sheer talent, no question Dak is the better thrower. But you always have that “something” factor. Craig Morton was a better thrower than Roger Staubach but Roger just had “it.” I dunno if Rush has “it,” but the whole run-first game plan is sooooo much more desirable than the pass-happy Dak game plans.

And this defense if for real. I think I heard it was the first time in NFL history a team held its first five opponents to 19 points or under? You’ll win a LOT of games that way. And, it doesn’t hurt to have a good FG kicker. We’ll see what happens with the E-girls.

But we all know they are really the Redskins, er, Foreskins.

Exactly. This is Dak’s problem. They tried to turn him into Brady or Marino. Run first, run first, run first. Do everything off play action. Dak would be a top 5 QB if they did that.

When your defense is only allowing 13 pts a game you don’t need a lot of QB to win. That being said Rush is doing well, hitting the passes he needs to, not screwing up.

The Super Bowl Rams were a rental team. Most of the big stars that hoisted that Lombardi are gone. Retired, traded away, let go to free agency, a couple are injured and might come back this season. They decided they had a window of opportunity and mortgaged the future to win. They succeeded, but now is the future.

From the Cleveland stadium rules of conduct at their website:

Headdresses and face paint styled in a way the references or appropriates American Indian cultures and traditions will not be permitted.

It's clear that the Indians the team once celebrated lose again.
