Heartbreaking detransition story describes ‘trauma’ caused by gender confusion
Life Site News ^ | September 30, 2022 | Andreas Wailzer

(LifeSiteNews) — Jalisa Vine gives a heartbreaking testimony on how gender surgeries ruined her life in a “detransition diary” video series where she talks about how her medical “transition” from female to male permanently damaged her and how she is now trying to detransition and accept herself for who she really is.

The description of Vine’s introduction video reads “Born female, at the age of 18 I began medically transitioning. 8 years later- after hormones, and several surgeries, I am now detransitioning.”

The detransitioner describes how traumatic experiences led to her decision to medically transition. “The majority of my life so far has been a trauma response. My whole identity has been rooted in trauma,” Vine explained. “It’s really hard to look in the mirror and love myself right now.”

“My transition was a trauma response,” Vine concluded.

“It’s like mourning an entire life that should have been mine. That was my birthright,” Vine stated in the first entry of her detransition diary that has over 270,000 views.

“I don’t know how this happened to me. And I’m just so angry and I’m so sad. I just don’t know how this happened. Like a virus or something, it just like, infected me, that happened so quickly,” she says while sitting on her bed and crying. “Why did I do that? None of this makes any sense. I should have waited to let myself heal. I can’t have kids … ”

“I don’t want to use the word ‘indoctrinated,’ but I was young and I was sad and I was impressionable, and I thought that this would fix everything,” Vine lamented. “I had bottom surgery. There’s no fixing it, there is no getting better. I have to live like this for the rest of my life.”

Vine continued her emotional testimony by saying the following:

As a woman who thought she was trans … and transitioned. Live as trans for 8 years, had top surgery, full hysterectomy, had bottom surgery. Went all the way as far as one can go and then woke up and realized ‘I made the biggest f*** mistake of my life.’”

A comment under the video by user “Hanna N” with over 5,000 likes reads, “The adults and professionals should not have allowed this to happen to you. I’m sorry. This is the medical scandal of our time.”

In the second entry to her detransition diary titled “I owe you an apology,” Vine revealed that she developed an addiction to pain medication after one of her sex reassignment surgeries. “All the mental health issues I had prior to transitioning were still there, probably worse, a lot worse,” she stated.

Vine described why it took her such a long time to realize that transitioning was a mistake:

I think I was painting the picture online that transitioning was making my life happy, but that was not what was happening off camera. I think I wanted to believe that transitioning was making my life better. I had just invested all of this time, money, and energy into transitioning, I did not want it to be the wrong choice. Something so big, so irreversible. I did not want that to be wrong. So, it took me a long time to accept that transitioning didn’t solve any of my problems, and did not make me feel more like myself. It actually made me feel further from myself.

“I did portray it online that transitioning was the best thing that ever happened to me. It wasn’t. And I’m sorry,” Vine continued. “Changing my external world did not change my internal world.”

Her third entry is named “my body was never the problem” and the detransitioner explained in it how her mental state was the real issue and not her body.

“I wanted to be a boy, so I did everything that boys do, but I don’t know what it is actually like to be a man. I only have this experience of a female emulating a man,” Vine stated.

“I needed to accept myself and my body for who and what I was, and there was never an issue with who I was,” she continued. “There was never any need to change anything about my body. My body was never the issue. My thinking was the issue.”

Vine went on the reveal how “a lot of the problems were made worse by transitioning.”

“Transitioning took me further from my truth, further from who I am, and further from self-acceptance. It was like running for something that I could never catch,” Vine explained.

A growing number of detransitioners have publicly come out with their stories of regret over their decision to have gender surgeries and hormone therapies. The upcoming documentary “Affirmation generation” tells the story of six of these detransitioners. Matt Walsh’s viral movie “What is a woman?” also dealt with this issue. Furthermore, the Detransition Subreddit “r/detrans” has grown tremendously over the past couple of years and now almost has 40,000 members. This site exists for detransitioner to share their experiences with others and look for help after discovering that their decision to medically transition was a mistake.

As the parent of a trans child, this breaks my heart.

My child has an incurable endocrine defect which caused her body to masculinize naturally. Less than 1% of the population has her condition and less than 10% of those have her variant. Being born trans is very rare; I was shocked when so many young people started identifying as trans.

Being trans is a painful life sentence; the medical field, at the behest of woke activists, made it a fad.

The medical field is butchering children. They never should have pushed her down that path.

In the movie/documentary by Matt Walsh - “What Is A Woman?”...the gruesome medical transition process is discussed and a person in the position much like this gal is, warns people about it. Phalloplasty is the term used and whew...is it creepy. Honestly, for me, that was about all I could take...that was the TMI point. If you haven’t seen ‘What Is A Woman’...you should.

Jalisa said “I think I was painting the picture online that transitioning was making my life happy, but that was not what was happening off camera.”

A majority (70% iirc) of the girls to boys have mental health conditions such as being on the spectrum for Aspergers (and often undiagnosed), OCD, depression, anxiety, etc.

They ARE different from the “normal” girls. The trans-cult gets them to thinking and believing that the reason they don't fit in with the other girls is because they are male. “When your breasts started developing did that make you feel self-concious? Do your periods make you uncomfortable?, etc.”

Most/all of it is an idea that is formed online. Lots of trans-promotors out there. Many even have large “forums” where you can come out and meet them - like they are rock stars or something.

But by getting so deep into the thing online, they can live out their alternate reality as a different person and somehow I think escape their agony in the real world due to their mental health issues. It sounds like it works. For awhile.

I thank God that Jalisa has found her way out of this deadly cult. My prayers for Jalisa and her recovery, and that she is strong and somehow recovers in her head and in her spirit. The people that truly love her don't care what she looks like - before or after surgery. God doesn't care either, and will forgive all sins if she asks for His forgiveness and healing and salvation.

Psalm 52:

Why do you boast of evil, you mighty man?...

Your tongue plots destruction;
it is like a sharpened razor,
and you who practice deceit.
You love evil rather than good.
falsehood rather than speaking the truth.
You love every harmful word,
O you deceitful tongue.

Surely God will bring you down to
everlasting ruin....

I trust in God's unfailing love
for ever and ever.

I will praise you forever for what you have done;
In your name I will hope,
for you name is good.

***************************

May God's vengeance be brought on these evil people that do this to our children.

Is anyone being asked what is it about the opposite gender that appeals to them so much that they’ll allow alleged doctors with questionable ethics to overdose them with hormones and to mutilate their bodies?

I know money is certainly a huge factor for doctors to sink that low, but how is their willingness to cut up and rearrange sexual body parts not a sign of heinous perversion?

"My body was never the issue. My thinking was the issue.”

Good news: Your thinking is now a therapy. Find new and stronger ways to delude yourself into thinking you're a man, cuz the realities of being a trans woman, e.g., permanent physical changes, mental health, etc., plagued with regret bites hard and for the rest of your life.

Yep, another lost sheep. The full biography of this sad person would be illuminating especially on the subject of what kind of family she grew up in. Nastassja Kinski has written she grew up in an abusive and morally chaotic family. Her father Claus had a sexual relationship with her much younger sister maintained by force and terrorization. She was pushed into sexualized entertainment (nude or near nude magazine features) as a young teen. She frankly states Marcello Mastriani had sex with her when she was 15 and making the adult film ‘Stay as You Are’ where in the European cut she performs sex acts and is frequently shown completely nude. As she says she was just a child and needed adults to be kind and protective not lecherous and cruel. Ms Kinski has had lifelong substance abuse problems (liquor and drugs) and considers herself fortunate that she didn’t commit suicide.

That is what until a few years ago, it was considered right along with people who deliberately amputated limbs.

She should find a good shyster lawyer and sue her school system, medical professionals and local governments who facilitated this atrocity upon her.

Gender dysphoria... a mental disease caused by bad parenting, grooming at a young age and woke schools. All should be held accountable.

Mental illness may make people vulnerable but so does teenage angst and the general confusion of growing up.

It is a sub-sector of the Left that creates this cult which is advocating transgender.

Some of the support for this cult comes from older trannies themselves (the old misery loves company syndrome), some comes from the brainwashed medical field (brainwashed by the Left), some comes from parents who want to be accepted for having a special-needs (trans, in this case) child, some of it may just come from a need to belong, some comes from peer pressure.

BTW, if mental illness is defined by the distance between our perception of reality and actual reality, we are all insane to some degree. Teenages are particularly vulnernable because adapting to an ever-changing, constantly moving away "reality" is most difficult during adolescence.

$$$ is why. Politics and greed are disastrous in any context, but when in crops up in the medical field, that's how you get monsters and zombies.

That's a good point. The "trans community" are actually the most binary thinkers of all, assuming that if you aren't wearing pink and wanting to be a ballerina, you must be a boy, because those are the only two options.

The “doctors” who conducted experiments for the Nazis and the Japanese during WWII were *hanged* after the war for doing the same things that some of today’s “doctors” are doing in the US (and elsewhere).

This is why we don’t give children credit cards. Because they don’t have fully functioning brains and are unqualified to make decisions regarding their future until they have been fully rounded into adults. We used to know this.

The medical field is butchering children.

It is a fatal conceit that we can learn from history and this 'trans fad' does much to prove it. If one brings up the name of Dr Joseph Mengele (for just one), and then looks up the post-WW2 "Declaration of Geneva" (1948) [World Medical Association] and the primary maxims listed therein, one realizes what has been forgotten!

Physician's Oath

At the time of being admitted as a member of the medical profession:

I solemnly pledge myself to consecrate my life to the service of humanity;
I will give to my teachers the respect and gratitude which is their due;
I will practice my profession with conscience and dignity; the health of my patient will be my first consideration;
I will maintain by all the means in my power, the honor and the noble traditions of the medical profession; my colleagues will be my brothers;
I will not permit considerations of religion, nationality, race, party politics or social standing to intervene between my duty and my patient;
I will maintain the utmost respect for human life from the time of conception, even under threat, I will not use my medical knowledge contrary to the laws of humanity;
I make these promises solemnly, freely and upon my honor.

Prayers and sympathies for your child and your family! God Bless!
