The web is both good and bad. But the creativity of some on the web is amazing. Photoshop opened lots of doors. And at the same time twisted lots of other perspectives.

Just because these people go to church doesn’t mean they have faith in Jesus. A lot of the black churches are like Rev. Wright’s “God-damn-America”’s church, i.e, a political meeting place.

I don’t believe he is under that delusion, or that his intentions are noble in any way. It’s all about the power which ultimately results in more wealth.
Thomas Sowell described him and his ilk in “The Vision of the Annointed.”
Of course, there are many folks who have faith in Jesus AS THEY KNOW HIM (i.e., similar to the real Jesus, but not quite accurate).
That might be what's taught in most of the churches in the world today.

From the beginning in Texas (1836) there were Tejanos and Anglos. Both at the Alamo and San Jacinto. (there were also a few black people) As today there are many families intermarried between Hispanic and Anglo families. In Texas and New Mexico, married across the US/MX border is very common. Allows to own property on both sides of border.

County Judge is a misnomer that is a uniquely TX term for what other states call a County Commissioner. Very politically powerful, to be sure, but not one who holds courtroom trials. Think roads and other public works.
Probably more than in decades past, and all militantly liberal.
