Being Christian, I see a very different picture. A Biblical hallmark: God commonly uses Evil to destroy Evil. Exactly what we have here.
Both sides are corrupted, evil. Support neither, support negotiations and Peace. No one has, just war, war, war….and yes the US is included with this immoral, corrupted leadership, falls into the evil category.
Russia really doesn’t have much small business in the western sense. It’s cities are pretty much empty of trade outside of shopping malls and markets.

RuSSia has been able to avert some of the damage of the sanctions by selling oil to others. Back when the price of oil was sky high, that helped make money even though RuSSia offered discounts for it. Now that it is coming down, RuSSia’s income is dropping. And China is buying up RuSSian oil at huge discounts and selling it for profit. LOL! Only a corrupt, inept nation like RuSSia would let that happen.
Yep, calling 300,000 from the reserves is absolutely going to ruin the economy in the country with the workforce of 84 million, of whom 3 million are unemployed...
