Kele Inc., a building products supply company in Memphis, Tenn., has apparently fired an employee for condoning Alabama receiver Jermaine Burton striking a female Tennessee fan on the field Saturday after Tennessee’s 52-49 win over Alabama at Neyland Stadium.
"I am glad he did it," the employee said on Twitter Tuesday in reference to Burton’s alleged swat of the female fan. "Should have knocked her head off. Not supposed to be on the field anyway."'

I wonder if the company truly means "any."
This is like the crazy Alabama fan who after Cam Newton led Auburn to a victory over Alabama was so irate, he went to Auburn and unloaded a bunch of industrial strength poison on the famous Oak Trees at Toomer’s Corner in Auburn and ended up killing them.
He called into a radio show and told Paul Finebaun the story, no one believed him until Auburn officials checked the soil around the trees and found enough poison to kill the trees.
The Alabama fan’s excuse, “I guess I had to much Bama in me”...
Free speech is being lost under the guise of “fairness”. Most people couldn’t afford a lawyer to help sue for Wrongful Termination, but it is wrong. This is what I would have expected from the Soviets.
I remember watching the Baltimore Colts middle linebacker #32 Mike Curtis. He was a naturally mean guy and a VERY hard tackler. He did NOT want receivers to feel safe around him. He tackled to punish.
Just watch this to see how modern football has changed, for safety, to something almost like flag football. It was VICIOUS in the old days. Not saying better or worse, just different.
The big highlight was when he nailed a fan who ran out on the field and grabbed the ball and ran around with it.
Curtis also refused to go on strike with the rest of the NFL, called the union a bunch of communists etc. He was HARD CORE, and he didn’t give a damn what anybody thought. He was one of a kind.

Maybe he was a lousy employee and the boss had finally had enough. I guarantee that there is more to this than some comment.
Social media is a sewer. It spills over into real life.
Free speech doesn’t mean you can say whatever you want without consequences.
He used his free speech to say something stupid in public. His employer fired him. He still has free speech to say stupid stuff but nobody is forced to employ him.
He was fired and then told the press he was fired for making the comment
I have to wonder if the company being based in Tennessee played any part in the company’s decision.
How old was the fired employee? Bama fans my age might recognize that he worked in Memphis (home of the Albert Means scandal) and the venom some of us still have towards Tennessee over that. LOL
White men are excluded from their “any”.
Expecting blacks to behave in a civilized manner is now “racist”.
The SEC - It just means more.
Why were fans allowed on field when opposing team was still on field anyway?
No, it would be more like some uninvolved party saying on the internet that poisoning trees was a good idea and that he approved.
Nick Saban Reveals He Escaped Tennessee’s Field Storming Without Injury
"Last season, Alabama head coach Nick Saban showed off a massive bruise on his arm from the Crimson Tide’s loss to Texas A&M. It was a lasting reminder to Saban of how the team performed in that game.
Tennessee has already been fined $100,000 dollars.
Very likely you are correct. Plus, he also would likely be a huge company disruption, potentially with violence involved, because the company is located IN Tennessee. Probably many employees are Tennessee fans that are very angry with this guy. The company probably did not want to assume the responsibility of protecting this creep from his fellow employees.
Full disclosure: I am an Auburn fan . . . even when it hurts. . . .
