Polar Bear & Sled Dog Frolic In The Snow (cool images)

I found these images on my hard drive. Thought I would share them. Cannot say how old they are, since they were in a file marked Old Windows Images, and I have been using a MAC for 5 years.

In this series of photos, you will see a polar bear come upon some sled dogs tethered to a stake. Oh boy…..

Normally you would think that a dog tethered to a stake would be lunch for a polar bear, but these pictures tell a completely different story.

From what I can see, the polar bear just wanted to play and get a little brotherly love.

The professional photographer who took these photos said the bear came back every night that week to play with the dogs. It gives a whole new meaning to the verse “the Lion will lay down with the lamb”…God’s animals having fun.

It’s not just “A” dog, it’s several. And several bears. And it wasn’t a single incident, it’s been going on for years. As the bears are going from their winter digs to their summer hunting grounds, they always stop by to spend a few days with the dogs.

This was in a segment of “Nature’s Weirdest Videos.” Only more intelligent animals engage in play and the theory they put forth is that they actually crave it. The bears were intelligent enough that they could recognize a similar trait in the dogs. Apparently the bears decided they’d rather have the dogs for playmates than for their supper.

Fascinating. There’s more to creation than we will ever know in this age.

I look forward to the peace between animals and between man and animals that is referenced in the Biblical accounts of the New Heaven and New Earth.

I noticed you had a section guessing about when Christ was born. Leviticus 23 has the Feast Days listed there when God will interact with His people. First the Sabbath represents the last 1000 years of rest when Jesus will provide for us. Passover was when Jesus was slain on the cross so the death angel will pass over His people. Unleavened Bread He was buried, and He rose from the grave on First Fruits. The church was born on Pentecost.

Now if God made sure Jesus died exactly the same hour the lamb was being slaughtered in the Temple and the right Psalms were sung at His funeral, why wouldn't He make sure we knew exactly when we will be Raptured? We will be changed in a moment at the Last Trump on the Feast of Trumpets and the Tribulation will begin after that and last 7 years. Normally there are 10 days from Trumpets to Atonement, but unless the days were shortened, there would be no flesh left so it's 7 years. Then comes Tabernacles. The angel said to name Him Emanuel because it means "God with us". Jesus was born on Tabernacles and will return on Tabernacles to come live with us. It will be a repeat of Exodus when the glory cloud was over the Tabernacle in the wilderness.

You can go to Luke 2 to start an laborious week counting for Zachariah to complete his courses and it will still come out to be Tabernacles. Using Leviticus 23 there should be no guessing as these are the Lord's days called moed's or dress rehearsals appointments for what God is about to do.
