Of the picks that I know are good they match mine. Is there somewhere that makes the choice for the ballot initiatives clear? There are 18 of them!

My researched choices on the 1s, 2s, and 3s. There are no 4s in Cochise County outside of Benson and Wilcox.

NO - IOW, the Legislature could just ignore the will of the voters. This would make it legal to do what they did in California – the people overwhelmingly passed a no-new-taxes law and the State Legislature just threw it out because THEY didn’t like it.

YES - Prevents people from combining unrelated issues in one ballot. The US Congress needs this to prevent them from putting lib BS into, say, the defense budget.

YES - This changes existing law from you-had-to-live-in-Arizona-BEFORE-joining-the-Service (or getting widowed) to apply to ALL handicapped vets and widow(er)s.

YES - Prior to Ducey, no Governor had served 8 years in over 30 years. Twice, the death, impeachment, or retirement of the Gov has resulted in a change in party. One each way. This would guarantee, if we elect a Pubbie, we get a Pubbie.

YES - Anything making it harder to raise or establish a tax is a good thing, to me.

NO - This is sponsored by SEIU. What it really means is that if you’re somebody in Arizona who makes under $50,000 a year – which is over half of our population – this would essentially make you untouchable by creditors. That might sound great, but what it really means is that nobody will lend to you if there’s no way to ensure they’ll get their money back.

NO - All of the supporters I looked up (4 at random) are all Dems. This would demand disclosure from private groups but NOT big tech, corporate media, or labor unions – they would be exempt under this!

NO - In 2006, we passed Prop 300 with a 71% majority. The title of that prop was “No Tax Dollars for Illegal Aliens for Higher Education”. This is trying to overturn that. They want to give illegal aliens in-State tuition. Americans from Texas or Nebraska would have to pay more!

YES - The nay-sayers say that providing ID would interfere with a fundamental right. I say, “Right to what? Cheat?”

NO - If you live in a city with its own city fire dept, you will be paying twice, once your usual property tax and then this tax to pay again. This law would provide a bailout for irresponsible districts and provides no accountability or transparency. You would pay taxes to districts but have no say in who they elect or how they spend your money.
