Former campaign vice chair for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, Huma Abedin, told "The View" hosts on Thursday that Clinton faced "impossible standards" as a woman in politics.
Co-host Ana Navarro said "politics have become a personality contest" and asked Abedin about Vice President Kamala Harris being "judged" by the same "phantom ideal woman" as Clinton.
"I know the challenge and you know this well that Hillary had to face just as a woman in politics," Abedin said. "All these impossible standards, you know, she needs to be taller, shorter, talk this way. This is annoying, you know, she looks angry when she speaks. It was almost like you couldn’t win no matter what you said."
Abedin said Clinton was never the "personality candidate" and said no one ever questioned whether she was "qualified."
"It was all of these other sort of excuses and I think it’s because we as a society, we cannot – that’s by the way both men and women because women do decide elections in my opinion. We can’t see women as commander in chief. We close our eyes and you think of president and you think of a man," Abedin said.

Hillary would have won had it not been for Russian interference, the “experts” said so themselves.
It’s not the fact that she’s a woman it’s the fact that she is an absolutely horrible person
Hillary Clinton is a lying, thieving, bullying, cheating, murdering, dirty little snot whose dad had to tie steaks around her neck so the alligators would play with her.
Whether she was short, tall, pretty, ugly, man or woman it would have been the same. Her ideas are toxic.

Some bad news for you, Huma. The Hyena is already the first woman president. It happened when Dementia Joe took a tube up his wrinkled butt and it was officially temporary, but it happened.
The little fact being denied....she lost not because she’s a gal...she lost because she’s shillary.

So if you have a crap personality (Hillary) or are an air-head (Harris), it’s isn’t those things that holds you back from success, it’s some misogynistic double-standard.

Standing up and walking unassisted was one standard she couldn’t pass.
Herself set the rules for engagement very early in her career, while serving on the committee that was writing up articles of impeachment to be used by the House of Representatives against Richard Nixon. Extend no rights to the object of the proposed impeachment, and dig up the most specious and spurious charges imaginable.
Incidentally, Herself was fired from that committee for being “too harsh” in language used and by overlooking some serious lapses in legal practices.
For hating Nixon so much, Herself did everything she could to emulate the Nixonian strategies and political tactics later on.
