Maybe. He had two wives and a son who died curiously — all supposed “suicides”. One somehow strangled herself with a power cord and the other two shot.
He had numerous felonies and the cops said he was known to be dangerous such that they avoided him.
He was also a previous “person of interest” in several murders.
So it’s not like this allegation is coming out of the blue.
I looked up accessory after the fact in that state and the statue of limitations.
It looks like it is an aggravated misdemeanor with a three year statue, but then there all sorts of exceptions making the limit potentially 10 years. I really can’t follow it.
He died 10 years ago. So I think she talked to a lawyer and then waited until she was absolutely safe and came forward.
She says she tried to tell people, but no one believed her. Her older sister denies the accusation, her other sister can’t be reached and her brother committed suicide when he was 39.

Due to Dunning Kruger effect and having a brother who is a lawyer, I have great, albeit probably misplaced, confidence in my legal reasoning.

If I were the property owner I wouldn’t be able to consent fast enough. I’d want to know if it was true.

Oh, yeah. I forgot about her. Her story comes up every few years on ID or Oxygen.
She says she told all kinds of people for decades, no one believed her. Does she have proof she reported this? Grain of salt with this, IMO.
I thought I had read recently that they searched the property on which she said the bodies were buried and found nothing.
Thanks for the update. Sounds like a wacko woman. She should do some time to get the law enforcement agencies sidetracked with her lies.
