Make owning/keeping/feeding all these invasive reptiles a felony.
Same with lions,tigers,bears, wolves,etc
Exceptions for zoos and current owners who demonstrate truly secure facilities AND carry liability insurance, allow reasonable inspections and pay a license fee.

Turn wild python into a delicacy and that will solve the problem. Pythons tend to have extremely high levels of mercury so eating them isn't safe.

Tell the Chinese that the wild pythons in the Everglades are an aphrodisiac. Gone in 10 years.

Earlier this year, a team of biologists hauled in the heaviest Burmese python ever captured in Florida. That female python weighed 215 pounds, was nearly 18 feet long and had 122 developing eggs, according to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. Wow, good catch.

The origin of pythons in the wild in Florida is disputed, but I am a life long Florida resident and (alas) old enough to remember the problem as it developed. There were isolated escapes and releases of pet pythons over the years, but it is thought that they became established as breeding colonies due to Hurricane Andrew. Although pythons are found elsewhere, they are most numerous in Miami-Dade and the nearby Everglades.

I wonder if they mix the Python with other meats to improve the flavor?
Several of the meats posted are not exotic.
They can keep the bug-burgers!
