Were I a school bus driver, the LAST thing I’d want is to be stuck on a bus full of less-than-well-behaved children when the batteries die.
I’ve read that this boondoggle is the equivalent of a single new electric school bus for each school district in the country. Which is about all the grid could handle.
So who gets the diesel in the upcoming big shortage - trucks with groceries or school buses?
Could be worse.
