Yup - the all-time greats just never know when to walk away. Jordan should have hung it up after that iconic bucket to win his sixth NBA finals. Ali should have called it quits after that third Frazier fight. And Brady's moment should have been after that Tampa Bay championship, away from Belichik.
But his life, his decision. Losing a supermodel wife just to throw tantrums on the sideline and badmouth his teammates isn't a great way to go out. But undignified endings are typical for great athletes. Willie Mays ending his career with the Mets, John Unitas getting clobbered for the Chargers...
