This just in: We have our first Woke corporation that can’t stand the idea of Americans having free speech on Twitter.
GM has temporarily suspended ads on Twitter after the Elon Musk takeover, as reported by CNBC.
So it begins.
Sounds permanent to me. 🤪😆😂🤔🤭🤗👍
Not enough ground clearance to get into the ski area, nor room for inside transport of necessary equipment. AWD with chains?
Looks kool though.
Isn’t GM Chinese now?
Government Motors doesn’t want to give ad dollars to another car producer.
Not really
I will not buy any new vehicle made by the UAW.
Maybe a 35 year old pickup but nothing new
My husband says GM vehickles are the only ones he has ever had towed in twice—never again.
That’s fair.
I vowed never to purchase a Government Motors vehicle after Obama stole their stock from the preferred shareholders and gave it to the UAW because stealing is what they do.
I have kept that vow.
Yup.
My father had a GM car some time ago. Around 1958. Family’s been GM-Free since then.
I think Tesla sells more EVs in a quarter than GM has ever made in total.
I probably would not buy a gm car cause I had gm saabs and a few Cadillacs. Not ever again.
Old 70 or 80s corvette, maybe

“Looks kool though.”
Looks are all you will ever get as that model has been long since sold out with waiting lists a mile long
Well Musk is the CEO of a rival car company so might not be a woke thing at all.
Hmmmmmm......we have PERMANENTLY ceased purchasing any GM products.
Meh, they just want to see where it goes. I am sure Musk has a plan to use AI algorithms to filter ads based on content, or something like that. Also filters users can install to avoid content they may find disturbing, or promote content they are most interested in. It may take a while but over time he could theoretically make twitter many times larger than it is now. Let people self censor if they want.
Not to mention, what kind of crap statistics do you think Twitter was giving to advertisers? How much money did GM spend promoting cars to bots and trolls?
He was a co-founder of PayPal. With PayPal now deciding to “fine” its users he may even consider adding a payments feature. “Hey, tweet me that money you owe me”.
He’s gonna want a return on investment. He spent a heck of a lot of money...
I have a pet project 79 K5 that I will get to someday.
My only GM product.
I absolutely would never buy a GM or Ford product ever - ever again.
The Koreans & Japanese make far better models, have better warranties, and I’ve yet to have a poor experience with their cars.
