Sweden’s new right-wing government has sparked an outcry after scrapping the Ministry of Environment in a move the opposition has branded “devastating”.
Previously, the ministry was a high-profile stand-alone department with a minister in the cabinet, but now it will operate as part of another ministry instead.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson unveiled his new cabinet on Tuesday, and although he did appoint a Minister of Climate and Environment — 26-year-old Liberal MP Romina Pourmokhtari — she will work under Christian Democrat leader Ebba Busch, the new Minister for Energy, Business and Industry, rather than lead her own ministry.

Hmmmm....Let’s see.. Since since the far left, marxist, environazi creepozoids are so bent on ‘renewables’ and ‘sustainability’ let’s make every arrested protestor make their own natural gas. Put them all in the same room, feed (force-feed if necessary) large amounts of beans, and collect all the natural gas that is ‘produced.’ The collection will occur only after the protestors have had ample time to simmer in the natural gas.

Anyone and everyone who believes that the existence of humans are the scourge of the earth and want everyone else to suffer the hardships of de-industrializing and give up anything that brings an easier and modern existence, I suggest they lead the way by first giving up their own lives for their cause, thus easing the pressure on the earth’s environment . This “devastating” move may save their country
(I)t is very clear that in fundamental theory, socialism and democracy are almost, if not quite, one and the same. They both rest at bottom upon the absolute right of the community to determine its own destiny and that of its members. Men as communities are supreme over men as individuals.Since I have not seen any evidence disproving Wilson’s seemingly startling and wild claim about democracy (that it and socialism are the same thing), then the phrase “Christian Democrat” is an oxymoron since it means the same as “Christian Socialist”.

Crap! I may have to move to Sweden.
It is doubtful that windmill and solar panel generated energy can ever support a heavy industry like was necessary for the US to fight WWII. Only countries like China, Russia and India will prosper in the future because they believe in the use of fossil fuels. They will rule the world and all others will be their slaves.
Don’t entertain any schadenfreude — as Europe goes, so goes the US eventually.
This story reminds me to burn more wood this winter.
