American rapper Takeoff who is part of Hip Hop group Migos has been reported to have been shot dead in Houston over a dice games.

I somehow doubt he was shot by a member of the NRA. The media will no doubt ignore the violent culture of rap "music" that kills their population.
He took the retirement plan offered by rapper unions.

From what I’ve seen a shootout, including taking a bullets to non-vital areas, is usually enough to move a wrapper significantly up the charts.
But, in this case, I have to assume that Takeoff wanted to get to the top of the charts, and that usually takes some lead in places where it can kill you.
