I’m not saying it’s impossible, but I have trouble believing that NOT ONE of the 27 invited kids showed up or their parents gave any indication they weren’t coming. I’m not skeptical by nature, but this strains credulity.
This is not the first story I’ve seen like this. There have been others. If this was the first then I say “hmmm” but I’ve seen it happen to older kids and just can’t believe how rude some are.
Especially with a mom savvy enough to use social media to not have any idea or get any messages no one is showing?
Maybe she didn’t actually send an invite?
Especially if they were really "friends".
