These aren't articles being written by someone else about him. It is literally his own words that he deliberately published himself doing this damage.

The truth is, he is one of the most effective and entertaining speakers ever.
He can draw crowds of 40k who will stand in the cold rain for 12 hours, then listen to him speak off the cuff for 90 minutes - no script, no celebrity appearances, no musical act - just him talking!
And he can draw such crowds over and over - holding them in a trance. Leaving them wanting more.
The reason he can entertain crowds like this is because he says hilarious things just like “Youngkin sounds Chinese”.

youngkin is my gov, i voted for him. did he attack trump at all? i think he’s just minding his own business... this is uncalled for.
if anything, trump should instead go after winsome sears, the lt. gov of virginia.
Trump is the only Republican I know of who has run multiple PRIDE events. It's one of the reasons I've been moving on from him myself.
We liked him because he fights AND WINS!
But he hasn’t won anything since he beat Hillary Clinton in 2016.
That was the Greatest Election Ever but let’s be honest. There’s been three more since then that haven’t gone so well.
Go move on and vote for Pence then.
If this is real (and its hard to know with fake news) Trump is off the rails.
And Trump’s response to all that is whine that he got more votes than DeSantis in a Presidential election year and make a Chinese joke about Youngkin. Sundance is a grape Kool-Aid drinker.
20 years ago a remark like that could have been made during a campaign speech while introducing the candidate. People would have laughed at the first sentence and applauded at the end.
Today we can’t even call covid the chinese flu without everyone running to their safe rooms in tears.
I miss how things use to be.
