Russia would never go for that. Russians are suspicious by nature, and they have a long memory. So they most assuredly remember the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact of 1939. Nazi Germany promised to leave the Soviet Union alone. And we all know how that turned out.
Neither would the Red Chinese. They expect to pick the fruit of Siberia and the Northern Far East when it is ripe.
