The terms would benefit the cronies, but I don’t see how it would benefit Putin.
Putin will be dead soon: one way or another. Especially, if he doesn’t five up his moose blood juice.
The oligarchs would happily jettison Putin to keep their money and power while also staying out of prison.
Putin's disposable to them at this point. Honestly, I don't understand why he wasn't sooner. I'd have bet good money that Putin would've been assassinated by now due to oligarch displeasure. Good thing I'm not a betting man.
