Actress Candace Cameron Bure has issued a statement to people who have viciously attacked her online and attempted to smear her character.
Bure recently came under fire after telling the Wall Street Journal that Great American Family, a media network she is involved with that produces family-friendly content, will focus on traditional marriage.
When asked whether she anticipates the cable channel featuring homosexual couples as leads in holiday films, Bure said no, according to the outlet. "I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core," Bure said, according to the Journal, which reported that the actress is the chief creative officer of Great American Family.
"One Tree Hill" actress Hilarie Burton Morgan accused Bure and Abbott of being "bigots" and called them both "disgusting."
One novelist and NY Times writer even compared her with Adolf Hitler's wife...
Well, Bure issued a lengthy statement responding to the uproar, and it definitely takes the high road.
"All of you who know me, know beyond question that I have great love and affection for all people," Bure said in the statement.

These people are so predictable it’s boring. Klan jokes? Really? Snooze…
Didn’t know the name, but I knew that face! I think she has been in every Hallmark Channel movie.
What a bizarro world this has become.
To say that you would like to concentrate on traditional family stories, traditional marriage, etc. will cause the leftists to meltdown and claim you are a bigot.
That’s the world we seem to be in. Definitely that is the world of the entertainment business.
Valeri Vladimirovich "Val" Bure (/ˈvɑːlɛri bʊˈreɪ/; Russian: Валерий Владимирович Буре, IPA: [vɐˈlʲerʲɪj bʊˈrɛ]; born June 13, 1974) is a Russian-American former ice hockey right winger. He played 10 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Montreal Canadiens, Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers, St. Louis Blues, and Dallas Stars.
It’s a badge of honor.
klan jokes?
why are they picking on democrats?
The Hallmark holiday movies are syrupy sweet with predictable plots, but with the Christmas tree lights on, a hot mug of ‘something’ and presents to work on, I used to watch. As soon as the LGBT stuff stared, didn’t watch another movie.
Glad to see Candace making a switch & I hope her holiday movies fill the gap ... evidently, there’s a 20% ‘gap’ i.e. viewership down at Hallmark ... count me as one of those who said “enough ... bye”.
I support Candace 100%. Yes, we “will keep traditional marriage at the core.” The traditional family is the rock supporting all neighborhoods, cities, states and countries since Adam and Eve. I enjoy walking through neighborhoods with traditional families and I avoid neighborhoods with deviant households, such as the Castro neighborhood in SF, where walking alone is like a magnet to irresponsible deviants and where churches have funerals daily.
The globohomos can shut their grooming pieholes.
“ride that prejudice wave to the bank”... sure as if she didn’t voluntarily probably sacrifice millions of dollars to leave Hallmark to work for a startup Christian network.
‘I think she has been in every Hallmark Channel movie.’
yes and unfortunately the movies on GAF are every bit as abysmal as the Hallmark pap; talk about predictable crap proramming...
not that I lower myself to watch any of it, of course; it’s the wife, she can’t get enough of it, especially the ridiculous Girl Next Door Meets Stud Prince from Absurdia types...
Do you suppose the idiot who said that realized that she admitted entertainment based on traditional values is more lucrative? Probably not. LOL
Amen 🙏!!!!
Does he figure out that she’s the one as she’s getting her life together while away from home at - a ranch/farm/far away city/the hometown she left behind?
She’s a very attractive woman
Dude would pee his pants if he ever came across a real klan member. Everybody likes to play a tough guy on the internet (even when they have a man-bun)
Will have to see if we get Great American network
I genuinely like the Hallmark ‘type’ movies but detest what they’ve done to them and won’t watch now
The good ones are predictable…yes…..but fun and corny.
EVERY new TV show or movie has a gay/lesbian romance.
‘Does he figure out that she’s the one as she’s getting her life together while away from home at - a ranch/farm/far away city/the hometown she left behind?’
every time, without fail; all the while he sells Christmas trees for a living with his precocious kid, both of them mourning the loss of his wife at the age of 28 from undisclosed natural causes...and living in some small community filled with quirky but kind hearted people who are being threatened by some evil developer looking to build a condo on the town square where the town tree lighting takes place; and doing all this while striving mightily to keep every hair in place, even as he meticulously keeps a two day beard that looks like he just came off a bender...
damn, just shoot me now..
