Scott Ritter - Ukraine Russia War - Where is it Going?
Judging Freedom ^ | November 17, 2022 | Scott Ritter

Posted on 11/17/2022 3:26:01 PM PST by Cathi

Another excellent interview. Scott Ritter differs from Col. MacGregor who thinks the errant Ukrainian missile crashing into Poland was "probably" a mistake.

Ritter thinks it was a deliberate strike on Poland to force NATO into the conflict (Article4/5) But, he thinks it was done by a rogue "nationalist" (read neo-nazi) who control the missile batteries in the Western part of Ukraine which is where the missile strike originated from without Zelensky's knowledge.

He also feels there is no possibility of a negotiated settlement at this time because Zelensky will not accept reality.

"Ritter: How do we end this conflict? And Burns was having a frank discussion, I believe, with his Russian counterpart and received some hard truths. And the hard truths are what I just told you. 'Hey, William baby, 200,000 troops show up on the battle field next month .....we didn't mobilize them for nothing. Don't come to us and ask for a diplomatic off ramp. We're winning this war. We are going to win this war and if you want the war to end you have to give us something that we're going to get anyways. The key here isn't that we give up something; it's what you want Ukraine to preserve. Do you want them to preserve Odessa and continued access to the sea then they must end this conflict now on our terms, not their terms.'

It's going to be a tough time for Ukraine. Look, I am taking this smile off my face because this is tragic. They literally are going into the stone age right now and they only have themselves to blame.

Judge N: All of this is part or your view of a bigger disease, a disease of the mind in Western diplomats and particularly American diplomats that America has the God given right to control the world and can finance puppets to fight for that control and then can tell those puppets what kind of government they should establish. I mean you've told us many times, Phil Geraldi has, Co. MacGregor that this war started in 2014 and it started by the CIA fomenting a revolution against a popularly elected, albeit pro-Russian government.

Ritter: I accuse America with being infected with the disease of hubris, national hubris. The arrogance that comes with that. Read the National Security document that was just published by the Biden administration and look at the emphasis it is placing on "the rules based international order." Then ask yourself what is the rules based international order? It's not international law set by the United Nations Charter. It's a bunch of side agreements and deals the United States cut with the rest of the world in the aftermath of the second world war to imbue us, the United States, with total power and authority over everything....the way the world works, especially financial. So now that the dollar, the petro dollar, touches everything anything that touches the dollar we feel we have a right to sanction and control so we are dictating the global existence to the world that doesn't want to be dictated to and that is what we are running into right now. The world is starting to get tired of American hegemony; they're tired of the arrogance. We call ourselves "the exceptional nation." We say that the world cannot function without us. Well the world is getting ready to say, 'Watch us.'

I think the only negotiation that is going to take place is going to be similar to that which took place on the deck of the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay in September of 1945 or the negotiation that took place in Berlin in 1945 where a German General sat down at a table full of Soviet Generals who said 'Sign the paper or die."

Let's take a trip down memory lane and check on one of Scott's predictions from a few months ago:

Scott Ritter

June 2, 2022

Russia’s “Special Military Operation”, which began on Feb. 24, is entering its fourth month. Despite stiffer than expected Ukrainian resistance (bolstered by billions of dollars of western military assistance and accurate, real-time battlefield intelligence by the U.S. and other NATO members) Russia is winning the war on the ground, and in a big way.

...

The history of the conflict so far has proven Rudskoy correct — no amount of western military aid has been able to prevent Russia from achieving its military objective of liberating the entire territories of both Lugansk and Donetsk.

Let's see how things have actually gone since March, Ritter's declarations above, and today:

WTF does this mean?

Since the Mobilization, Russia has lost 1,000's of square miles of territory and is twice as far from Odessa today than it was 2 weeks ago.

Delusional.

220,000 Troops don't matter if you can't advance more than 2 miles withouth the lead tank getting Stugna'd, while the collunm behind gets HIMAR'd.

There is no longer a path forwaed for Russia. Only backwards, towards Russia.

You meant “We are big leaguers.”

I know English is new to you, but you can substitute “We” for “Russians”. You are all the same people.

Scots-Irish, and mean as they come.

And I'm not dumb enough to live on the East Coast.

Hope you got lots of firewood for this winter - heating oil, propane & natgas are going to get expensive by you, because of your ruling class out thataway.

The Russians are big leaguers.

They seem big on retreating the last 6 months. The front line has moved many leagues from their high water mark in mid March.

Why didn’t commentators like Scott Ritter predict the Russian retreat from Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Nikolaev, Snake Island, Kharkov and Kherson?

How many months of being wrong do you give a guy like Ritter before you question his judgement in this arena?

It's not about "territory".

See On War by Clausewitz.

Should Ritter read it to understand why he declared “Russia is winning the war on the ground, and in a big way” while the Russians retreated from Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Nikolaev, Snake Island, Kharkov and Kherson?

Why do people put stock in his opinion on this conflict when the opposite of what declares becomes true?

Putin started this war trying to seize territory. Do you think he doesn’t care about the territory in the Crimea?

Yeah, you know Russia is WINNING.

All those dead Russian kids and lost ground don’t matter.

The Russians are all about the moral victory.

They are fighting the LGBTQIAA2+ agenda and the WEF for all of us... err, or something.

They are going to fight to the last untrained, I’ll equipped conscript.

Anyone who thinks Russia is winning needs to go back and watch the Russian invasion videos of Kiev from February/Early March. They had an incredibly impressive invasion force, kicking butt and taking names.

All that is completely and totally smashed, now. All those tanks, all those APCs, all those trucks, all those men, smashed.

The current Russian army is a hollow shell of the Feb 24th Russia army.

Don’t believe me? Go back and watch the videos.

I wonder if your handler knows that your lack of familiarity with English possessives is leaking through into your FR posts?
