I remember when Reagan was shot. The ABC news reporters were trying to keep up with all the news coming in when it was reported the handgun had been purchased in Dallas.

Frank Reynolds threw his hands in the air and yelled...”A-G-G-H! DALLAS!”

In other news, while going through some old boxes I found several Tulsa World newspapers telling of the Kennedy killing, and another one telling that Oswald had just been killed.
There were also several memorial books about Kennedy in that box.

I was in the 6th grade. The announcement came over our brand new intercom. A girl next to me screamed and began bawling.

We only had one TV station. Everyone was glued to their TVs as we absorbed what had happened.
