Bill Barr showed his true character, exactly as you described. Most of his fellow RINOs share the same characteristics.

They are more concerned about somebody talking politely, and getting invited to the right DC cocktail parties than they are about our nation.

Why didn't Barr root out the corrupt DOJ and FBI operatives who tried to frame President Trump? For him his own comfort was more important.
