And they didn’t even answer the most important question of all.
So, a guy is cleaning out the attic of an old house he just bought and finds a 40 year old shoe repair ticket. And what’s amazing is the place is still in business. So he thinks it will be funny to go there and “play dumb” and try to reclaim the shoes.
He goes to the shop, hands the very old guy that runs the place the ticket. The guy goes into the back room for about a half hour and finally comes back out. He hands the ticket back and says, “they’ll be ready the day after tomorrow.”
