I get his opinion but, we are using Ukraine as proxy for war against Russia to mitigate a two front war in 10 years in 10 years with China and Russia.
Once we neutralize Russia, they are no longer able to participate with China’s military ambitions and we can take on China knowing they no valid allies...
It’s amazing how FR is split on this and I respect your opinion and it’s not an uncommon one but I dont like foreign aid.
The founders said no entangling alliances and that should be your foundation (in my opinion!)

We won’t neutralize Russia, but we certainly have energized Europe and they will get off their a$$es and take over the countering of Russia. Additionally encourage Europeans to keep a closer watch on China incursions in Europe, Africa. and middle East.
We need to disengage from Europe and pay more attention to the Americas, Arctic, and the Pacific.
